Since 2012, Firefucker has been cracking on with their own raw brand of New Wave indie rock straight out of Rendsburg. The band has its roots deep in the local rock scene and has developed a proper unique sound over the years that consciously straddles indie, wave, and rock.
After loads of lineup changes, shake-ups, and musical shifts, one thing has well and truly remained: the massive urge to avoid simply doing what everyone else is doing.
Rough edges are just part of the deal with Firefucker – musically as well as in the band's history, which is now moving forward with our new lead guitarist, René. A proper warm welcome to the „Family in Black“, René!
Musically, things are moving forward, too. With „Something Better Change“, Firefucker dropped a brilliant new track, keeping up their journey across New Wave, indie, and Brit-rock.

What used to be the „Firefuckerstall“ has since turned into a proper piece of Rendsburg's underground history. What started off as just a rehearsal space and a place to hang out has grown – in collaboration with Eiderland-Musik e.V. – into a massive part of the Rendsburg music and cultural scene, one in which the Firefuckers are now an indispensable fixture.
Today, there is once again a top venue for gigs, rehearsals, recordings, and events – meaning there is still a proper stage for Firefucker and all our mate's bands.
So, the story is nowhere near finished yet.
